“There are three things we need to look at,” Guleria said Tuesday. First, the emphasis should be on infrastructure development of hospitals. Second, hyperactivity must be shown to prevent infection. Third, the vaccination program must continue, ”he said.

Before issuing a long-term full lockdown, the AIIMS chief emphasized the need for coordination between the concerned states and centers in India. He also said that there is a need to ensure the livelihood of the people and the supply of essential goods and services.
