Saudi Arabia stands by India in tackling oxygen crisis

Outbreak of novel coronavirus is going on in India. At the same time, there is an acute shortage of oxygen in several states of the country. In such a situation, various countries have come forward to cooperate with India. Saudi Arabia, a Middle Eastern country, has supplied 60 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen to India. The Saudi Gazette quoted the Indian embassy as saying.

Citing the Indian embassy in Riyadh, the Saudi Gazette reported on social media on Sunday that Saudi Arabia had sent 60 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen to India to help cope with the oxygen crisis needed for Kovid-19 patients.

The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia wrote on its Twitter account, ‘The Indian Embassy is proud to partner with the Adani Group and Messrs. Lind to send the much-needed 80 metric tons of liquid oxygen to India. Many thanks to the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia for their help, support and cooperation.

India is going through a terrible situation due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The number of identities and deaths in one day is surpassing the number in the previous day. As a result, India’s medical system is becoming fragile. There has been an acute oxygen crisis. Many patients are dying in the oxygen crisis in the country, according to various media reports. Neighboring Pakistan also wants to stand by India in such a situation.

To address the current situation, Pakistan has offered to send various items to India, including ventilators, bypasses, digital X-ray machines, personal protective equipment (PPE). Pakistan’s foreign ministry said in a tweet on Saturday. This information has been given in a report of Indian media Hindustan Times.

In the last three days, more than one million people have been caught in India and more than seven and a half thousand people have lost their lives. This information has been reported in the Times of India.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health, more than 349,000 people across the country were diagnosed with corona on Saturday and 2,760 people died of corona on that day.

For the fourth day in a row, more than 300,000 people have been identified in India and the death toll has risen to more than 2,000 for five days in a row.

India is currently in the most vulnerable position compared to the global Corona situation.

Maharashtra has the worst Corona situation among Indian states. On Saturday, more than 67,000 people were infected with the corona and 676 died. The situation in the country’s capital, Delhi, is also dire. In the last 24 hours, 357 people have died in Corona. The hospitals are overcrowded with corona patients. Many people are dying in the oxygen crisis. Twenty-five corona patients died at a Delhi hospital yesterday due to lack of oxygen. The ongoing lockdown in the capital could be extended for another week, according to Indian media.
