Mamata will be sworn in as Chief Minister on Wednesday

Mamata Banerjee is going to take oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal. He will be sworn in as chief minister for the third time in a row next Wednesday.

The decision was announced after a meeting with the newly elected MLAs at the party office on Monday. Besides, the MLAs will take oath on Thursday and Friday. News from Anandabazar and India TV.

Mamata said the MLAs have given a worthy answer by snatching victory in a tough fight. He also gave a message of caution. He reminded the MLAs that they should not be arrogant that they have become MLAs. Winning means, responsibility has increased.

Mamata added, “People across the country are happy with our victory. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly.

After confirming the formation of the government in West Bengal for the third time, Mamata sat in a meeting with the first winning MLAs on Monday.

Right there, Biman Banerjee is going to sit in the chair of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly again. Subrata Mukherjee will be the pro-team speaker on the day of election. Besides, the day of taking oath of the MLAs including the Chief Minister was also fixed in that meeting.

It has been decided that Mamata’s name will be decided as the leader of the parliamentary party and the party leader will decide who will be in charge of which department. Perth Chatterjee informed about these decisions after the meeting.
