Infection of the novel coronavirus is on the rise in India. The country’s health ministry said on Monday that coronavirus had been detected in a record number of 352,991 people in the country in the past 24 hours. The news agency Reuters reported the information.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, no other country in the world has identified so many people in a single day. Corona infections have been on the rise in India for the past five days.

Apart from this, 2,812 people have died in India in the last one day, surpassing all previous records of deaths in Corona.

According to Reuters, citing the Indian Ministry of Health, the country’s infection rate is the highest in the last 24 hours. One out of every four people who have had a corona test has tested positive. A total of one crore 73 lakh 13 thousand 163 people were infected in the country due to three and a half lakh new infections.

India ranks second in the world in this number. The total death toll in the country has exceeded one lakh 95 thousand. In the last 24 hours, the infection rate in the country is 25.17 percent. In other words, out of the number of people who have been tested, one out of every four reports is positive.
